Winnie Clark
I’m Winnie Clark—a New York City–born and based creative director, graphic designer, and brand communicator. I specialize in crafting bold, beautiful, and engaging content across digital, print, and experiential platforms.
I began my career as a graphic designer and copywriter at AARP The Magazine while studying at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Later, I earned my Master’s degree in Advertising Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
After graduating, I dove headfirst into the fast-paced creative industry. I started by designing for the award-winning luxury safari outfitter Micato Safaris, then joined TAG Creative, where I worked as an art director for global beauty brands including Maybelline New York, L’Oréal Paris, Sally Hansen, and Essie.
As a freelancer, I’ve continued to grow my portfolio with collaborations that span from Google to Calvin Klein to Meta, and I’ve taken on lead design roles for forward-thinking startups like Mented Cosmetics and Julie Emergency Contraceptive.
My background in luxury and beauty has shaped my design philosophy: clean, confident, and timeless work that not only catches the eye but leaves a lasting impression.
Lately, I have been using my creative talents as part of Visa's global event team as senior art director.
